ANM stands for Arusha Node Marie; Anon-profit society that provides free or almost free internet service to schools, education and research institutions to improve the quality of education through the use of ICT.
We are working in Arusha region at the moment. However, we are looking forward to expand our area of intervention in other regions.
ANM’s vision is to bring the world to Tanzanian Students.
To catalyze an interest in, access to, and an familiarity with modern information technologies, as represented by the internet, to the students who will be the future managers and decision makers in Tanzanian business and institutions.
Our goal is for effective participation of students, teachers, researchers and general public in the use of ICT to improve education.
To promote electronic sharing and networking within Tanzania
To link local organizations and individuals internationally through electronic communications
To provide free or almost free access to internet in qualifying educational institutions
To ensure quality internet access and services through research utilization of new technologies and methodologies
To conduct seminars and workshops for members and other stakeholders on new technologies related to ICT
